Six Flags White Water is seeking a capable leader to oversee the daily operation of the Aquatics department and support the aquatics work crew with projects and training.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years aquatics experience (lifeguard, ride attendant).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Must possess enthusiastic and positive Guest First Orientation and enjoy working with people.
• Ability to motivate with excellent leadership skills.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Must achieve, receive and maintain Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Certification.
• Outstanding performance as a team member.
• Must respond immediately, adapt to, and oversee all emergency situations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the park's aquatics department.
• Assist aquatics work crew with projects and training.
• Oversee aquatics staff through daily training, coaching, discipline, and rewards.
• Support department and division training initiatives.
• Cover life guarding/ride attendant duties when necessary.
• Meet Ellis and Department Audit standards (High Pass / Exceeds).
• Collaborate with Operations to hit department and park goals.
• Ensure Guest First Standards are followed and enforced.
• Maintain high throughput goals and respond to guest comments.
