Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation is seeking an Aquatic Supervisor to oversee 30–40 lifeguards and aquatic staff at Ray's Splash Planet in downtown Charlotte. The role includes scheduling, training, recruiting, and managing pool operations, safety, and program offerings.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in aquatic program management, and relevant certifications. Flex schedule with mornings, evenings, weekends; potential for Managers‑on‑Duty assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience managing aquatic programs with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in cash handling and program coordination.
• CPR/First Aid certifications or ability to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and evaluate aquatic staff; schedule, train, and recruit.
• Oversee pool operations, safety, and equipment maintenance.
• Manage programming: swim lessons, teams, events; ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare communications, memos, and program promotions; coordinate with Health Dept.
