Job summary

Villa Sport San Jose is hiring an Aquatics Lead to support the Aquatics Director, uphold safety standards, train staff, and ensure clean, welcoming facilities. This full-time, hourly role requires lifeguard expertise and strong customer service to deliver five-star service.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills with a service-oriented approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrates teamwork and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of American Red Cross standards for rescue and surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Aquatics Director to implement standards and budgets.
• Lead training and develop staff to deliver five-star service.
• Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming aquatics facilities.
• Schedule lifeguards and swim lessons; monitor operations.

Education

American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (incl CPR/First Aid/AED)

Lifeguard Instructor Certification (LGI) preferred

High School diploma preferred
