Goldfish Swim School in Bedford, NH is seeking a Pool Operations Supervisor to lead the pool team onsite, maintain safe, welcoming experiences for families, and coach staff for quality lessons. The role covers training, evaluations, and regular reporting to leadership.

The position focuses on shift leadership, staff development, and communicating progress with parents and managers to ensure smooth operation and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; college degree preferred
• Strong communication and organization; comfort working with children
• Must pass background examinations
• 2+ years as a swim instructor preferred; youth coaching/teaching/camp experience preferred
• Lifeguard/CPR/AED/First Aid/Ellis preferred (training available); CPO certification optional (paid training if needed)

Responsibilities

• Lead, discipline, and give constructive feedback to pool staff
• Conduct periodic evaluations
• Run monthly meetings/workshops
• Deliver aquatic-based new-hire training
• Support W.A.T.E.R. Safety presentations
• Oversee Swim Instructor Trainers (including training logs) and Swim Team Coaches
• Communicate daily shift notes to the GM/AGM
• Produce weekly status reports (notes, checklists, and student progress summaries)
