Emler Swim School in Henderson, NV is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations, coach staff, and ensure exceptional experiences for kids and families at our award-winning swim school.

The role involves active days in and out of the pool, hands-on leadership, and a focus on customer service and program delivery. We provide comprehensive training and growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate College degree (5 years of relevant leadership/work experience may be considered).
• 2-3 years of management experience supervising a team.
• Proven success in leading, motivating, and empowering a team.
• A genuine love for teaching children.
• Ability to recognize problems and resolve them on the spot.
• Excellent customer service skills – it must be natural to say yes.
• Ability to set goals, create plans and convert plans into action.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, coaching, leading and inspiring a team - both in aquatics and customer service.
• Drive exceptional customer experiences and satisfaction; lead by example on front-line shifts.
• Calmly, positively and proactively respond to challenges.
• Maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Master our teaching curriculum and customer service practices.
• Create a caring, fun, friendly and effective work environment.
• Create and manage schedules and lead regular team meetings.
• Manage employee engagement and retention.
• Develop operations team to be industry leaders.
• Directly manage KPIs to ensure location operates efficiently and profitably.
