Job summary

Serenity Aquarium & Aviary Services is looking for an entry-level service technician to maintain aquariums and aviaries primarily in nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Little Rock, Arkansas. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, averaging 5-10 hours per week, with pay starting at $25 per hour.

Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This particular role will primarily be servicing aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Lifting, bending, and some physical demands are involved in the position. This is a part‑time remote position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month but will average around 5‑10 hours per week. Hours are dependent upon services due and may vary.

Travel Requirements

Travel in a 150 mile radius of Little Rock, AR will be required. Accounts currently range from Memphis area to Little Rock area. Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving. Hourly Wage is not paid during driving.

Due to work being performed in long term care homes, Covid‑19 vaccine or masking/goggles may be required.

Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 4‑5 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job.
