Job summary

Serenity Aquarium & Aviary Services is looking for a part-time employee in Memphis, TN to service aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The position requires basic knowledge of hand tools and involves lifting and bending.

Job Description

We are a rapidly growing aquarium and aviary service company. This role involves servicing aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. It is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Lifting, bending, and heavy physical demands are involved. This is a part‑time position, typically during business hours 8 am to 7 pm, with flexible hours averaging 5–10 hours a week.

Travel

Travel within a 150‑mile radius of Memphis, TN is required using a personal vehicle. Accounts range from the Memphis area to the Little Rock area. Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving; hourly wage is not paid during driving.

Additional Requirements

Due to work being performed in long‑term care homes, masking or goggles may be required.

Storing 50 lb bags of bedding and seed along with 4–5 27‑gallon totes of supplies will be required.
