Serenity Aquarium & Aviary Services is seeking an entry-level part-time technician to service aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This particular role will primarily be servicing of aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted livings facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. heavy lifting, bending, and many physical demands are involved in the position. This is a part-time position. This area currently has one 300G aquarium and the rest are aviaries.
Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month but will average around 15-25 hours a month. Depending on which accounts are due and drive time and the ability to group services into the same day.
Travel in a 165 mile radius of Dodge City, KS will be required. Furthest accounts are Sharon Springs - 165 miles done every 7-8 weeks. Scott city - 90 miles every 12 weeks (Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving. Hourly Wage is not paid during driving)
Due to work being performed in long term care homes, masking/goggles may be required.
Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 4-5 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job.
