Job summary

Nextech is seeking an Operations Training & Development Coordinator in Dallas to plan, coordinate, and execute apprentice training within service operations. You’ll manage schedules, logistics, and training records while onboard onboarding and enabling a seamless learner journey.

The role offers opportunity to impact technician development, requires 1–3 years in scheduling/dispatched roles, and prefers LMS familiarity along with HVAC-R or service industry experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, or workforce coordination in service or trade environments.
• Proven ability to coordinate field personnel and manage dynamic schedules.
• Experience supporting or facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with LMS and training tools is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems for tracking.
• Self-starter who can work independently and across teams.
• HVAC-R or service industry experience is a strong plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate apprentice training programs that shape Nextech’s future workforce.
• Schedule classes with instructors for smooth program delivery.
• Support apprentices by arranging travel and creating training purchase/work orders.
• Deliver onboarding with proactive candidate communication from offer to start.
• Track attendance, participation, and progress to ensure completion.
• Use LMS to manage training content and records.
• Collaborate with training teams to maintain materials and experiences.
• Stay current with service operations processes and apprenticeship requirements.
• Build cross-team relationships to ensure training effectiveness.
• Travel up to 10% to support hands-on training and evaluations.
• Ensure activities meet safety and company standards.
