Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Possession of a valid Class A Florida CDL with air brake endorsement is required to operate the vehicle fleet; if not possessed, must obtain within 6 months.
• This position is designated as a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pole handling, setting and framing in a safe and timely fashion.
• Operate line truck and pole trailer to deliver poles to the job site.
• Read electric meters and install/repair overhead and underground streetlighting.
• Respond to service calls during off-duty hours and participate in standby rotation when needed.
