Job summary

Competency in CPR and pole top rescue is required.
Must be able to pass drug, alcohol, and background checks.
Must be able to travel long distances on short notice.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced linemen with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power and distribution systems.
Work safely while performing construction, maintenance, or repair work on energized and de-energized conductors.
Capable of setting poles and anchors per safety policies and specifications.
Learn to read blueprints and understand distribution voltages; assist with inspecting and recognizing structural problems.
Work from an aerial device and be able to operate in varied weather environments.
