RequiredFlorida Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or higher, for both manual and automatic transmission, with an acceptable driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a recognized line worker apprenticeship programMinimum five (5) years of experience working with energized overhead and underground electrical distribution systemsExperience climbing wood poles and performing high-voltage line workPreferredMaintenance of Traffic (MOT) Intermediate Certification, or ability to obtain.Experience with switching operations, troubleshooting, and outage restoration on electric distribution systems.Experience with underground residential distribution (URD) installation and repair.OSHA Competent Person in Charge of Excavation certification, or ability to obtain.OSHA Confined Space Entrant/Attendant certification, or ability to obtain.
