Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd in Hawai'i is seeking a reliable Fish Cutter to keep our seafood department well stocked with fresh products and to assist customers with queries. This is an hourly, full-time position with a starting pay from $18.37 per hour.

Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred, and on-island candidates only; relocation assistance is not provided. Candidates must be 18+, lift up to 75 pounds, and may be required to pass a TB clearance and apprentice program if

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 75 pounds.
• Must successfully pass apprentice/training program (applies to apprentice only).
• Must have TB Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seafood cases are stocked with fresh, high-quality products.
• Receive, stock, cut, prepare, wrap, weigh, and merchandise seafood items.
• Perform proper inventory control and rotation to maximize freshness and minimize waste.
• Attend the service case and assist customers with requests and questions.
• Promote products by offering samples and recommendations.
