Foodland Super Market, Ltd in Hawai`i is hiring a Fish Cutter in a part-time, hourly role. The position requires 24+ hours per week, on-island candidates only, and evening/weekend availability.

The role involves stocking seafood, weighing, wrapping, and merchandising products, while aiding customers and promoting samples to boost sales. Must be 18+, with high school or equivalent, able to lift 75 pounds, and pass TB clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass the apprentice/training program.
• High school education preferred or equivalent.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 75 pounds.
• Must have TB Clearance and comply with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the seafood cases are well-stocked with fresh, high-quality seafood products for customers.
• Receive, stock, cut, prepare, wrap, weigh, price, and merchandise seafood department products.
• Maintain proper inventory control and product rotation to maximize freshness and minimize waste.
• Attend the service case and assist customers with special requests and questions.
• Help increase sales by offering product samples and recommending additional items.
• Fish cutters work with wrapping machines and knives.
