Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice Applicator to apply products safely and accurately on labeled crops and sites from manager/salesperson guidance.

You will operate and maintain application equipment, assist with loading and transport, and ensure detailed records and safety compliance on every job site. The role offers growth prospects toward a Custom Applicator position, with ongoing training and field coaching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, experience offset by relevant work.
• Excellent communication, reading, and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow safety rules and operate agricultural applicator equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely apply dry fertilizer and lime to customer fields as directed.
• Operate and maintain applicator equipment and vehicles.
• Assist in mixing, loading, and transporting crop protection products.
• Document orders, labels, SDS sheets, and safety procedures accurately.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Obtain and maintain state commercial applicator certification and Ag CDL.
• Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies; work overtime as needed.
• Support field scouting, product transport, and customer service tasks.
• Maintain logs and communicate field conditions to the location manager.
