Job summary

Surface Experts is hiring a Technician in Derby, KS to perform surface repair tasks with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will work hands-on to complete repairs typically in under an hour, while providing excellent customer service to tenants and property managers on daily routes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with your hands in construction, manufacturing, painting or related hobbies.
• Ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors; understanding color matching is essential.

• Track work progress and notes in our dispatch tool.
• Communicate with the support team with questions.
• Understand and utilize our 5-step repair process.

Do you like working with your hands? Do you enjoy variety in your work? Surface Experts Technician might be the job for you! Enjoy using your creativity to problem-solve repairs that typically take less than an hour.

We Offer:

• Pay range of $19 to $25 per hour includes base pay and performance-based bonuses


• Monthly bonus program depending on production


• Pay raise following paid training completion


• Direct four-week track to Surface Repair Technician


• No weekends, late nights, or evenings (overtime is available)


• Paid holidays and paid time off after 6 months


• Company vehicle for daily route

Requirements

• Experience working with your hands - This could be in construction, manufacturing, painting, or even a personal hobby


• An ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors - Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do

Hiring Process
