Job summary

The Local Pages, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring for a full-time appointment setter to help local businesses grow. You will make outbound calls from provided leads and set appointments for our outside sales team.

This role offers hourly pay plus commission, paid training Monday through Friday, and a reliable schedule with a Monday–Thursday 8:00 am–5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am–2:00 pm. Join a long-established local marketing firm with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous sales or phone experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work designated shift full-time.
• Proficient with basic computer functions and ability to use software and databases.

Responsibilities

A Day in the Life:

Every morning starts with a kick-off meeting for continuous sales training! Our appointment setters are expected to make outbound cold calls from our provided leads and set appointments for our outside sales team (who sell advertising to locally owned businesses). Reps are required to retire 180 leads per week and average 2.5 hours of call time a day.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school degree or GED equivalent
• Prior sales or phone experience is a plus
• Ability to work designated shift full-time
• Proficient with basic computer functions and ability to utilize software, data bases, scripts, and other tools appropriately
