Job summary

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is seeking an Appointment Scheduler in Fort Myers to handle a high volume of patient calls, collect demographics and insurance data, and schedule appointments within our Adult Medicine division.

The role requires HIPAA compliance, strong attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach. The schedule is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, in Fort Myers with opportunities for growth within the PPC network.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a high volume call center environment.
• Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately.
• Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients.
• Proficiency in handling all calls in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Knowledge of insurances, referrals, and eligibility a must.
• One year of medical office experience or a combination of medical education and office experience preferred.
• Regular and reliable job attendance is required.

Responsibilities
