Job summary

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida in Cape Coral, FL seeks an Appointment Scheduler for our Adult Medicine team. The schedule is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, supporting patient access and data accuracy.

Responsibilities include handling high call volumes, collecting demographics and insurance information, entering data into the patient management system, and maintaining HIPAA compliance while delivering compassionate service to patients and providers.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a high volume call center environment.
• Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately.
• Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients.
• Proficiency in handling all calls in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Knowledge of insurances, referrals, and eligibility a must.
• One year of medical office experience or a combination of medical education and office experience preferred.
• Regular and reliable job attendance is required.

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier physician owned and managed primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Estero, and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking an Appointment Scheduler for our Adult Medicine division in Cape Coral. The schedule for this position is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
