Job summary

Express Flooring is hiring a Confirmations Specialist in Tempe, AZ. The role focuses on protecting and retaining scheduled appointments by reinforcing homeowner decisions and ensuring they are prepared for the in-home consultation.

You will communicate value, address hesitations, and collaborate with Sales Managers to improve retention. The position is in-person, full-time, with a compensation range of $24–$25 per hour plus bonus opportunities, and a schedule from 9:30am to 6pm, including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of sales, contact center, or retention experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Active listening skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability in handling shifting priorities and business needs.
• A positive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work overtime and non-traditional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow confirmation and retention process to reinforce homeowner commitment and ensure appointments remain solid and aligned with standards.
• Identify cancellation risks, address concerns, and properly qualify (or disqualify) projects while keeping system information up to date.
• Communicate the value of the in-home consultation to homeowners considering canceling or rescheduling to protect revenue.
• Partner with Sales Managers, Design Consultants, and team members to strengthen appointment quality and retention.
• Engage homeowners and internal partners via phone and text to maintain a confident, seamless experience from first contact to in-home visit.
