Job summary

Fogarty's Home Service in Seymour, CT seeks an Appointment Center Representative to be the first contact for prospective customers, supporting the Sales Team to deliver top‑notch home improvement services.

You will handle inbound and outbound calls, manage calendars, input detailed records in the CRM, and help convert leads into confirmed appointments, contributing to a collaborative team‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in appointment setting and calendar management preferred.
• Basic knowledge of construction, remodeling, or home service preferred.
• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a warm, persuasive telephone presence.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with CRM software (i.e. Salesforce) and Google Suites.
• A team-player mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to handle objections professionally, think on your feet, and stay motivated in a fast-past, target driven environment.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Appointments - Answer inbound calls, make outbound calls to leads, qualifying them for in-home evaluation
• Lead Management & CRM - Accurately input and maintain detailed customer records, communication notes and appointment details in our CRM system
• Follow-up - Proactively follow-up with leads, trade show contacts, and missed appointments to convert them into scheduled appointments
• Customer Interaction - Provide general information about our product and/or services and build rapport to instill confidence in our brand
• Sales Team Coordination - Coordinate closely with Sales Team to manage calendars efficiently and maximize revenue opportunities
• Goal Tracking - Meet overall department goals and objectives
