Job summary

Prime Intellect, Inc. seeks researchers to develop environments, agents, and evaluation methods for quantitative finance in a frontier AI stack. You will build post-training systems and verify robust performance across markets, with direct customer and partner collaboration in an externally facing role.

The role emphasizes RL/agents, analytical tooling, and production-grade research capabilities, with flexible remote work options and visa sponsorship potential.

Qualifications

• Depth in RL, agents, or post-training systems and fluent in quantitative research.
• Experience in systematic trading, market microstructure, time-series modeling, econometrics, or financial simulation is useful but not required.
• Hands-on experience building and debugging model-training, post-training, agent, evaluation loops.
• Strong experimental judgment with clear failure attribution and willingness to pivot.

Responsibilities

• Build environments grounded in point-in-time data and market mechanics, with costs and constraints.
• Develop agents that conduct quantitative research and use analytical tools.
• Create verifiers and evaluations for out-of-sample behavior across assets and horizons.
• Set up production loops with monitoring, governance, and failure attribution.
