Commure is building the AI Operating System for healthcare, delivering autonomous backend AI to automate core revenue cycle operations with guardrails and compliance. This role focuses on end-to-end ownership of AI features from prompt design to production, impacting how care is delivered.

The Software Engineer II will ship production AI, collaborate with customers and internal teams, and contribute to architecture and scalability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in frontend: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Proficient in backend: Python, Go, or C++.
• Experience with Git, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, DBs, monitoring.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical direction by improving architecture, tools, and technologies.
• Build end-to-end products to revolutionize revenue cycle management for providers and administrators.
• Own end-to-end integration workflows from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and healthcare teams to gather requirements and prioritize tasks.
• Improve system reliability and observability with monitoring/logging/alerting.
• Optimize performance and scalability of web applications.
• Collaborate with infra and backend teams to ensure high availability and resilience.
• Conduct in-depth code reviews and drive architectural improvements.
