Job summary

Commure, based in Mountain View, is building an AI-native platform that automates healthcare revenue workflows and documentation flows at scale. We’re seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own end-to-end AI features for the RCM domain, shipping production-grade code and guiding architecture decisions in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with frontend and backend teams, design scalable systems, review code, and mentor engineers while delivering impact on patient care and healthcare finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in frontend languages like Javascript, HTML, CSS.
• Proficiency in backend languages like Python, Go, or C++.
• Experience with Git, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), Docker, Kubernetes, and both relational and non-relational databases; monitoring/alerting.
• Proven track record designing and implementing end-to-end solutions and making architectural decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical direction of the RCM platform by proposing and implementing improvements to architecture, tools, and technologies.
• Build end-to-end products to revolutionize revenue cycle management for providers and administrators.
• Take ownership of end-to-end integration workflows, from design and development through deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements, define approaches, and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
• Improve system reliability and observability with monitoring, logging and alerting best practices.
• Optimize performance and scalability of web applications as we expand.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and backend teams to ensure high availability and resilience.
• Mentor engineers and drive a culture of technical excellence.
• Conduct in-depth code reviews and drive architectural improvements across the stack.
