Job summary

Commure is building an AI-native operating system for healthcare. We are hiring for a senior software engineer to shape the autonomous backend of our Revenue Cycle Management platform.

You will own end-to-end integration workflows, transform clinical encounters into payer-accepted claims, and drive architectural improvements. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help scale a robust rule engine to support high transaction volumes in a fast-moving,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong frontend skills in Typescript and React.
• Backend proficiency in Python or Go.
• Experience with Git, cloud platforms, containers, and databases.
• Proven track record of designing end-to-end solutions and architectural decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Claims Submissions pipeline for electronic claims.
• Integrate with clearinghouses and handle responses, verification, and errors.
• Develop the Eligibility Orchestrator routing logic for correct payers.
• Scale a rule engine with hundreds of configurable conditions and actions.
• Contribute to architectural direction and platform improvements.
• Own end-to-end integration workflows from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and healthcare teams.
• Mentor engineers and uphold technical excellence.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and drive stack improvements.
