Job summary

Legence seeks an I&M Segment Applied AI Lead to implement AI solutions for installations and maintenance across operations, service delivery, and field work. You will prototype with operational data and deploy on the plant floor to ensure adoption by technicians and leaders.

The role requires hands-on experience with Claude tools, Python/TypeScript, and training non-technical staff to use AI-enabled workflows on site. A remote-ready position with client-facing operations is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across industrial/operations tech, software/data, or technical implementation.
• Hands-on fluency with agentic AI tools and operational data.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI solutions for real operations and service problems.
• Train and enable operations and field teams with hands-on sessions.
• Drive adoption in operations and the field including pilots and self-service use.
• Deploy, configure, and support the AI tools selected for I&M users (Copilot, Claude).
• Collaborate with peers to reuse solutions and templates across segments.
• Apply governance and data-handling standards and flag risks.
• Quantify and report impact: downtime avoided, MTTR, first-time fix rate, energy and asset performance.
