Job summary

Legence in the United States seeks an I&M Segment Applied AI Lead to implement practical AI solutions for installation and maintenance operations. You will prototype with operational data and train technicians, planners, and leaders to use the tools, driving adoption on the floor.

The role requires 7+ years in industrial tech, hands-on LLM experience, and the ability to deploy Python, TypeScript, or low-code solutions, with on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in industrial/operations tech, software/data, or technical implementation.
• Hands-on LLM experience in a business setting.
• Knowledge of industrial operations and field-service workflows.
• Ability to build/deploy Python, TypeScript, or low-code solutions.
• Experience training non-technical operations and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI solutions for real operations and service problems.
• Train and enable operations and field teams with hands-on sessions.
• Drive adoption in operations and the field: run pilots and remove friction.
• Deploy and support agentic AI tools like Copilot and Claude in workflows.
• Collaborate with Corporate and E&C Applied AI Leads to reuse templates.
• Apply governance and OT/IT data-handling standards and flag risks.
• Quantify and report impact: downtime, MTTR, first-time-fix, energy, margins.
