Job summary

Groundswell is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to lead end-to-end capabilities from discovery to production. You will define technical approaches, select AI patterns, build measurable success criteria, and govern deployment in client environments.

You will mentor engineers, work across client delivery and internal product work, and translate stakeholder input into concrete designs while maintaining current AI knowledge across teams. U.S. Citizenship required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and shipping production software.
• 1 year of hands-on experience building applications that integrate large language models.
• Own a capability end to end from ambiguous requirements to production.
• Strong programming in Python, TypeScript, or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements conversations with business and technical stakeholders.
• Define technical approach and defend it; select AI pattern.
• Build complete capability including prompts, retrieval design, tools, API integration, and UI.
• Operationalize capabilities in the client environment with governance and monitoring.
• Mentor engineers new to AI and maintain current knowledge.
