This hands-on, client-facing role spans delivery, product development, rapid proofs of concept, and internal enablement, with a focus on applying AI to real business challenges.

You will refine requirements with stakeholders, design solutions, and drive them to completion, while documenting methods and validating results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent demonstrated ability.
• 1+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience building apps that integrate large language models including prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Experience with APIs, data handling, and user-facing functionality.
• Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, or SQL and API integration.
• Ability to conduct requirements conversations with non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to question designs and propose alternatives.
• Ability to work through ambiguous requirements and drive to completion.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Take a defined technical approach and build production-quality functionality.
• Participate in requirements discussions with business stakeholders to understand workflow and outcomes.
• Contribute ideas during solution design and identify simplifications.
• Build applications that integrate AI capabilities with prompts, retrieval design, APIs, and UX.
• Build evaluation sets, measure results, and report findings honestly.
• Investigate failures, identify causes, and implement fixes.
• Support client demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
• Document work with logging, traceability, validation methods, and failure handling.
• Move between client delivery, internal product work, and rapid proofs of concept as needed.
• Raise blockers early and share reusable patterns with the team.
