This hands-on, client-facing role works with business stakeholders to refine requirements and build outcomes. You will deliver production-grade functionality, propose better approaches, and move between client delivery and internal product work to drive impactful AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated ability.
• 1+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience building applications with LLMs, including prompt engineering, retrieval augmentation, and structured extraction.
• Experience integrating APIs, data handling, and user-facing functionality.
• Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, or SQL and API integration.
• Ability to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and propose approaches.
• Willingness to challenge designs and suggest alternatives.
• Ability to work through ambiguous requirements and drive to completion.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Take defined technical approach and develop production-quality functionality.
• Participate in requirements discussions with business stakeholders to understand workflows and outcomes.
• Contribute to solution design and identify simplifications or AI-reduction opportunities.
• Build complete applications integrating AI capabilities, prompts, retrieval, APIs, data handling, error handling, and UI features.
• Create evaluation sets from real data and report results honestly.
• Investigate failures by identifying causes and implementing fixes.
• Support client demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to show AI value.
• Ask thoughtful questions and continually learn client needs and AI best practices.
• Document work with logging, traceability, and validation methods.
• Move between client delivery, internal product work, rapid PoCs, and enablement as needed.
• Raise blockers early and share results openly.
• Contribute reusable patterns and evaluation harnesses back to the team.
