Shrewsbury Landscapes, Inc. is seeking to hire an Application Technician to join our growing team. We are a leading turf management service company serving the golf and sports turf industry in New England, with clients including colleges, universities, private schools, golf courses, and municipalities.
We provide a wide range of turf management services for both natural and synthetic turf playing surfaces. Our goal is to help clients maximize performance and deliver safe, aesthetically pleasing, and playable turf conditions for athletes.
The candidate will apply granular fertility and control products using tractor-mounted application equipment and operate other turf management equipment as required by client demand. Essential knowledge includes turfgrass management, product application, equipment calibration, and basic maintenance.
Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, be self-starters, and able to work independently or collaboratively. Willingness to learn and expand turf management knowledge is essential.
Requirements include a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and insurability. The candidate must be able to obtain a DOT medical card, a Massachusetts Pesticide Applicators License, and a Massachusetts Hoisting Engineers License (2A/1C) within 60 days of employment. Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and be able to lift 50 lbs.
