Job summary

APM Terminals Elizabeth is seeking an Applications Specialist to support and improve OT software systems across the terminal. You will work with operations, IT, and vendors to ensure reliable performance and successful deployment of technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of end-user support across software, hardware, and mobile devices with strong troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with OT infrastructure components and operational technology systems.
• Knowledge of operational systems such as GOS, TOS, AD, MTS, OCR, SCADA, ECS or comparable environments.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of business application initiatives aligned with terminal OT strategy and priorities.
• Drive system reliability and performance through incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Support deployment, integration, testing, and readiness of OT software solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors, OEMs, and system integrators to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions.
• Resolve incidents and service requests within SLAs, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Ensure cybersecurity requirements and IT/OT standards compliance.
