Job summary

APM Terminals Elizabeth seeks an Applications Specialist to support the strategy, performance, reliability, and improvement of OT software systems at the Elizabeth terminal. You will help deliver measurable value by enhancing system resilience, safety, standardization, and productivity, while supporting daily operations and modernization projects.

The role combines office work with regular visits to active terminal areas, collaborating with operations, IT, and vendors to deploy technology

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
1–3 years of end-user IT/OT support experience across software, hardware, and mobile devices.
Hands-on experience with OT infrastructure components and OT systems.
Knowledge of OT environments and cybersecurity frameworks within enterprise IT/OT contexts.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of OT software initiatives aligned with terminal strategy.
Drive system reliability and performance via incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
Assist deployment, integration, testing, and readiness of OT solutions.
Collaborate with vendors and system integrators to ensure successful delivery.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements and IT/OT standards.
Maintain and support IT/OT hardware and software components and change processes.
