Job summary

APM Terminals Elizabeth is seeking a Terminal Equipment Technology Manager to lead OT strategy, governance, deployment, and performance of technology assets across the terminal. You will ensure reliability, resilience, standardization, and continuous improvement of OT systems that support safe, efficient terminal operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industry 4.0, or a related field.
• Proven experience within container terminal operations, port digitization, industrial automation, or large-scale industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and enterprise IT standards within operational technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the terminal equipment technology strategy as part of the OT roadmap, aligning with global standards.
• Manage deployment and integration of OT solutions with testing and operational readiness.
• Drive reliability, resilience, and performance through structured problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop the terminal equipment technology team responsible for OT solutions including Smartport, Asset Digitalization, ABB crane OCR, etc.
• Collaborate with OEMs, vendors, and integrators to meet performance, quality, cost, and timeline expectations.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements and IT standards while supporting change management.
