Job summary

APM Terminals Elizabeth is seeking a Terminal Equipment Technology Manager to lead the strategy, governance, deployment, and performance of OT assets across the terminal. You will ensure reliability, standardization, and continuous improvement of OT systems supporting safe, efficient operations.

Working with operations, IT, vendors, and project teams, you will deliver modernization initiatives, support the Elizabeth Upgrade Project, and align legacy and emerging technologies with business value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industry 4.0, or related field.
• Experience in container terminal operations, port digitization, or large-scale industrial environments.
• Strong OT expertise with PLCs, SCADA, PDS, CCS, RFID, CAN bus, ECUs.
• Proven project management experience in complex deployment environments.
• Proven leadership with teams, stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and enterprise IT standards in OT.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TWIC card and Port Access Card.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT strategy and roadmap for terminal equipment technology.
• Manage deployment and integration of OT solutions with testing and readiness.
• Improve reliability, resilience, and performance through RCA and improvements.
• Lead OT team for Smartport, Asset Digitalization, ABB crane OCR.
• Manage relationships with OEMs, vendors, and system integrators.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage tech for productivity, safety, efficiency.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance and IT standards during changes.
