Leidos in San Diego, CA, is seeking an Applications Software Engineer to join the Cyber & Analytics Business Area. You will work on web service and full-stack development within an Agile team, focusing on secure, SOLID code and robust persistence layers for warfighter support.

Candidates should have a BS in CS (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience, an active secret clearance, and hands-on experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, UI frameworks, and automated testing.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent with 8+ years of software experience; degree optional.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience with web basics HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience in Scrum/Agile environments.
• Experience with UI frameworks such as AngularJS, React, Node.js.
• Experience with automated testing tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, BDD.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong written and communication skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop web services and full-stack applications with robust persistence in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Apply SOLID and secure software development practices.
• Interface with software/system engineers and other project team members.
• Promote Test Driven Development within the Leidos Agile Framework.
