Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Applications Software Engineer in the Cyber & Analytics business area. The role focuses on web service and full stack development with secure coding practices in an Agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience, a Secret clearance, and strong UI/JS skills. Expect collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to DoD security requirements, with growth and training opportunities available.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent with 4+ years of related experience; degree may be substituted.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Experience with web-based HTML/CSS/JavaScript in web environments.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Experience with UI frameworks (AngularJS, Ionic, React, Node.js).
• Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, BDD).
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong teamwork and excellent written and verbal communication.
• DoD 8570 security certification (Security+) required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop web services and full stack web applications in an Agile Scrum team.
• Ensure secure, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles.
• Collaborate with software, system, and QA teams to meet interfaces and requirements.
• Promote and implement Test Driven Development across the team.
