Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Applications Software Engineer to contribute to web service and full-stack development for cybersecurity and cryptographic key management solutions. You will work in an Agile Scrum environment, emphasize secure coding, and collaborate across software, system, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The role requires a blend of frontend and backend development with emphasis on secure software practices and TDD within the Leidos Agile Framework.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, 8+ years of relevant experience (or related experience).
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience with web-based technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with Scrum/Agile environments (SAFe, XP).
• Experience with UI development frameworks (AngularJS, Ionic, React, Node.js).
• Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, BDD).
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop web services and full-stack web applications with robust persistence layers.
• Apply SOLID principles and secure software development practices in an Agile setting.
• Lead by setting standards for Test Driven Development within the Leidos Agile Framework.
