Job summary
Leidos is seeking an Applications Software Engineer in our INTEL Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). You will contribute to secure, modern software spanning web services and full-stack development, applying SOLID principles in an Agile Scrum environment to deliver mission-critical capabilities for national security.
The role emphasizes collaboration with software, systems, IA, test, and quality teams, adherence to TDD practices, and secure coding standards.
Qualifications
- BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Active Secret Clearance is required.
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with Scrum or other Agile environments.
- Experience with UI frameworks (AngularJS, Ionic, GWT, SmartGWT, Qt, React, Node.js).
- Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, BDD).
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
- DoD 8570 approved security certification (Security+) within 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Develop web services and full-stack web applications.
- Implement robust persistence layers in Agile Scrum.
- Apply SOLID principles and clean coding practices.
- Promote and adopt Test Driven Development within the team.
- Coordinate with software, systems, QA, and other project members.
