Software Engineer (TS/SCI Poly) — Cyber & Analytics

Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to a large complex enterprise system in the Cyber & Analytics Business Area. You will work in an agile team, perform SDLC activities from user stories to deployment, and apply Behavior-Driven Development patterns with automated testing and DevOps practices.

The role requires active TS/SCI Polygraph on Day One, proficiency in Java, Python, C/C++, cryptographic knowledge, and experience with web services, databases and UI development.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent experience with less than 2 years of relevant work (or more with substitution).
• Strong experience with Java and multiple JEE frameworks (JPA, EJB, JTA, Servlet).
• Experience with JavaScript, Python, C/C++, Groovy, SQL.
• Experience with IDEs: Eclipse, VS Code, Visual Studio, WebStorm, etc.
• Experience with databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server.
• Knowledge of web UI development (AngularJS, JSON, HTML, XML, XSLT).
• Experience with source control and configuration management tools.
• Knowledge of cryptographic systems and XML canonicalization.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning and PI planning; analyze complex system requirements with formal design techniques.
• Promote code reuse and reduce maintenance costs by creating shared functions for developers and testers.
• Engineer, author, tune and document automation scripts; deploy to test/production benches.
