Job summary

Leidos in the United States seeks a Software Engineer to contribute to a large enterprise system within the Cyber & Analytics Business Area. The role involves SDLC, Agile practices, and developing server-side logic plus UI components using Java, Python, C/C++, and web technologies.

Expect collaboration in a fast-moving team with strong emphasis on quality and security. Candidates should have a BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience, or a related master's with less than 2 years.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in a related field with 2–4 years of experience (MS with <2 years allowed).
• Strong experience with Java and multiple Java frameworks (Spring, JEE, JPA, JAX-RS).
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, and SQL; familiar with web services.
• Experience with Eclipse, VS Code, Visual Studio, and test/build tools.
• Knowledge of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server) and web UI techns.
• Security/cryptography knowledge and ability to work on Windows/Linux.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily stand-ups and agile ceremonies to plan work.
• Develop software across server-side and client UI, following BDD/SDLC.
• Create, test, and deploy features with robust automation and tooling.
• Ensure code is modular, maintainable, and reusable across programs.
