Job summary

Senske Services in Boise, Idaho seeks a Service Manager to plan and oversee all resources for the Applications group (lawn, tree, weed), including procurement, labor, equipment and materials. You will supervise staff, hire and train teams, and ensure safety and licensing compliance while driving profitability and quality.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff development, vendor management, and ensuring timely payroll and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2- or 4-year degree preferred in horticulture or business.
• 3–5 years of supervisor/manager experience in landscaping.
• Strong communication, detail orientation, prioritization, and multitasking.
• Ability to read work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and train direct reports.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor department budgets and staffing.
• Hire, train, and develop field staff; ensure proper staffing.
• Procure equipment and supplies; manage contracts and profitability.
• Oversee payroll and field reporting; ensure timely records.
• Maintain licenses and safety compliance; promote staff morale.
