Job summary

Deans Services in Idaho Falls is seeking a Service Manager to lead the Applications team (lawn, tree, weed), plan budgets, hire and train staff, and ensure safety, licensing, and quality standards.

You will manage staffing, supervise field operations, and drive profitability by reviewing contracts, controlling costs, and delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a supervisor or manager in landscaping industry.
• Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and effectively train direct reports.
• Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors and employees at all levels of the organization.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and manage staff; ensure proper staffing for workload.
• Plan, supervise, and monitor applications processes and staff training.
• Ensure staff are properly licensed and certified.
• Respond to customer complaints and meet contract specifications.
• Develop department budget and monitor wages, revenue and capital budget.
• Oversee payroll and field reporting.
