Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. in the United States is seeking an Applications Lead to support enterprise application delivery and operations, focused on U.S. applications in a secure environment.

You will bridge business and IT, collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and compliant. You will own lifecycle management, lead cross-functional teams, manage integrations, and drive testing and deployment to meet quality and regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise applications.
• 5+ years of experience in application delivery and support.
• Experience in regulated or secure environments (federal, infrastructure, engineering).
• Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL.
• Strong knowledge of CMMC and/or NIST frameworks.
• Experience working with third-party service providers.

Responsibilities

• Domain Ownership & Application Lifecycle: Administer and support all Enterprise applications within the CMMC environment.
• Functional Leadership & Solution Design: Lead SME for the assigned domain and oversee solution design.
• Business Engagement & Requirements Management: Gather and translate stakeholder needs into solutions.
• Delivery Execution & Integration: Lead end-to-end delivery and ensure alignment with architecture.
• Testing, Quality & Deployment: Coordinate unit, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Application Support & Operational Stability: Manage performance, incidents, changes, and continuous improvement.
• Secure Enclave & Compliance Execution: Ensure compliance with CMMC, NIST, and CUI handling.
• Governance & Access Management: Enforce RBAC and SoD; partner on access reviews.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Provide status, risk, and compliance updates to federal project teams.
• Team Leadership & Vendor Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with vendors.
