Job summary

cafairplan is seeking an Application Development Manager to lead and grow the enterprise applications team. You will provide technical guidance on architecture, solution design, and delivery across critical programs, ensuring secure, scalable software that meets business needs.

This role partners with business analysts and technology teams, drives standards and governance, and serves as the primary escalation point for production issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Software Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in application development or enterprise software.
• 3+ years leading software development teams.
• Experience with enterprise applications and modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Application Development team to deliver secure, scalable enterprise applications.
• Establish development standards, code quality, and technical governance.
• Partner with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate objectives into scalable solutions.
• Provide leadership for application architecture and complex development efforts.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for technical challenges and production issues.
• Provide governance for Duck Creek development, configuration, integrations, and enhancements.
• Oversee planning, prioritization, and execution of development work.
• Collaborate with partners to coordinate delivery and drive successful implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement of software development processes.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and governance.
