Job summary

Allient Inc. seeks an Applications Engineer to join our Tulsa, Oklahoma facility. You will work with customers to determine requirements for motors, drives, gearboxes and other Allient products, serving as a liaison between customers, distributors, and sales teams.

Key responsibilities include developing cost estimates and quotes, reviewing requirements, communicating assumptions and risks, and supporting sales with pricing and margin forecasts. Strong MS Office and ERP/MRP skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years in applications engineering, quoting, or cost analysis.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare cost estimates, quotations, bids, and analyses.
• Review requirements and identify missing information, risks, and scope.
• Communicate pricing, assumptions, and cost drivers during reviews.
• Support sales with volume forecasts and pricing considerations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure current prints and configurations.
• Engage customers and reps to understand application needs.
• Provide technical assistance to interpret and resolve issues.
