Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years in applications engineering, quoting, estimating, or related roles.
• Experience developing cost estimates, quotations, or customer proposals.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Strong communication with customers, sales, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP/MRP, CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare cost estimates, quotations, bids, and analyses for products.
• Review requirements, identify missing information, risks, and assumptions.
• Communicate estimates, open items, and price drivers during reviews.
• Support sales with pricing, margins, and market conditions.
• Serve as liaison for engineering specs and production planning.
• Ensure customers have current prints, configurations, and pricing.
• Engage customers and regional teams to understand needs and quotes.
• Gather inputs from drawings, BOMs, volumes, timing, and qualifications.
• Prepare planning estimates and detailed itemized estimates from specs.
• Provide technical assistance to resolve procurement and field issues.
• Support quoting for regulated markets (aerospace, DoD, ITAR).
• Ensure compliance with first article, traceability, and validation needs.
