Job summary

The position covers technical sales support, quotes, and coordination of engineering specifications with production, requiring a degree in engineering and 3–8 years' experience; travel is involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 3–8 years of work and/or intern/co-op experience with technical products.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others at all levels.
• Solid computer skills include MS Office, engineering design software such as Solidworks, MatLab, Altium, etc.

Responsibilities

• Promotes value of Allied Motion and Allient Inc. products to customers in the geographic territory to maximize sales revenue growth.
• Issue customer quotes and tracks receipt of new orders; often the day-to-day contact.
• Develops sales volume, pricing and margin forecasts; adjust via price changes or share gain.
• Liaises to obtain engineering specifications and expedites material requisitions and production work orders.
• Provides technical assistance to interpret, analyze and resolve procurement, manufacturing, installation and field operating problems.
