Job summary

CPM Holdings, Inc. seeks an Applications Engineer in Waterloo, IA, focused on pelleting and size reduction equipment. The role involves reviewing customer requirements, selecting equipment, and submitting accurate quotes.

You will support North American customers by phone, digitally, or in person, collaborating with CPM engineers and sales staff to meet customer needs. Eligible for a hybrid work schedule after 6 months, with travel up to 50% to CPM and customer sites for training, seminars, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in business or technical field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Mechanical and/or agriculture background helpful.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Customer service, sales support or project management experience a plus.
• High integrity and ethics; strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Review customer equipment requirements and select appropriate equipment.
• Size equipment and prepare quotes with accuracy.
• Learn product knowledge and help troubleshoot issues.
• Complete tasks timely with clear follow-up for outstanding requests.
• Travel to CPM and customer sites domestically and internationally for training, seminars and commissioning.
• Maintain records of opportunities, quotes and contacts; participate in trade shows.
• Collaborate with CPM engineers and sales staff to meet customer needs.
• Perform additional related duties as needed.
