Job summary

CPM Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer to join the Sales Department in Waterloo, IA, with emphasis on pelleting and size reduction equipment.

The role involves reviewing customer requirements, selecting appropriate equipment, and submitting accurate quotes. You will work with North American customers by phone, digital, or in person, maintaining strong relationships and collaborating with CPM engineers and sales staff to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in business or technical field preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to communicate technical information.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in providing technical information.
• Size equipment and prepare quotes.
• Become proficient in product knowledge and assist in troubleshooting.
• Complete tasks with timely follow-up for outstanding requests.
• Travel domestically and internationally for training, seminars, and trade shows.
